French overseas territories
The thirteen French overseas territories are located in the Americas, Oceania, the Indian Ocean, and Antarctica.
These include the Overseas Departments and Regions, comprising the islands of Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Réunion, and Mayotte.
Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Martin, French Polynesia, New Caledonia, Wallis and Futuna, as well as the French Southern and Antarctic Lands, make up the Overseas Collectivities.
France is often referred to as a single country, but it extends far beyond the mainland. The overseas territories are lands of contrasts, where cultural influences, spectacular landscapes, and strong identities come together.
Here you’ll find blog posts to help you explore these unique territories.
